![]() Some of you(well actually, probably not, hehe) may guess I have fun surprising people(including a few Acura's, the Integra species comes to mind.pretty, but easy pickins if they think they can keep up on a twisty road.if peeps would just be nicer, you know not on my ass, because even if I'm going over the limit, my truck is still somehow in thier way, so since slamming on the brakes isn't smart, and never works anyways, I just don't let them pass, which is glorious mischievous fun, that only people who drive cars that aren't supposed to be quick can do to posers in boy racer cars(of any brand and cost for that matter). Throw in some 8" centerlines, 2" drop(mind you I do have air shocks, I do need to carry all my tools and tow my trailer to peoples homes(like a certain old man)that carries the sheds that I sometimes build for them(that they order from one of the big hardware stores) AND front and rear sway bars. The old guy liked grilling me about being a big carpenter guy driving around in a little truck, ofcoarse alot of people confuse the big gas guzzler modern trucks, that even I can't reach all parts of the bed w/o climbing into the friggin things, with a vehicle that has done everything I've ever asked of it, I can reach my ladder when it's on the opposite side of the rack(no need for a ladder to get a ladder), and it has never "broken" like little datsun trucks are apparently supposed to do. He didn't approve of my '84 Nissan 720(or my GPz900R for that matter). "Nuthin, and you need a respectable car." he said! Oh.really? The old guy hardly drove it.27,000 miles.whats wrong with it? I had absulutely no knowledge of a "Vigor" when I was offered one in trade for my carpentry skills. Good to see a Vigor section, although I only recently stumbled upon my Vigor by chance(or dare I say Fate! hmmmm), it has been a fun car. Hello, all! Haven't checked out the whole forum, but I'm sure I will enjoy exploring the site. ![]() Still not sure if I like the leather in the Vigor over the cloth in the Legend.īoth make about the same hp so expect the same passing and highway driving experience haven't really taken a road trip so far. It is soooo well balanced it really corners like it's on rails. The Vigor idles rougher (inline 5) and shifts smoother and is a much tigher, firmer ride. Legend idles smoother (once warmed up and the tappets stop hammering) and shifts stiffer (that darn "sport A/T" they put in that car) with a softer ride. ![]() Previous ride was a 90 Legend L sedan sold it a year ago dumbest move I ever made and have been looking for something to replace it ever since.Ĭomparing the two rides: the 6 cyl. Future work will include fixing a small rust problem in back quarter panel (Honda signature?) and brake pads and fluids in early winter. Car goes like stink can only ponder what the 5 spd is like. Only had 125K Km (72Kmi) and in really good shape. ![]() Just bought a 92 Vigor GS leather A/T less than a month ago. ![]()
